OUR METHODOLOGY
Physician-Led, Protocol-Driven Clinical Excellence
We bridge the gap between convenience and clinical safety. Our physician-led model ensures that every patient receives care based on structured medical protocols. We provide medical supervision with extended availability until 12:00 AM ET. Telehealth visits are available only to patients physically located in our licensed states at the time of the visit. Patient location is verified at the start of each visit.
Practice Policies &
Operational Standards
Operational Model & Billing
Ibn Sina Physicians operates as a cash-pay practice during Phase 1. We do not currently bill insurance providers. All scheduling, secure clinical messaging, and billing are managed through the DrChrono EHR portal for your privacy and convenience.
Appointments & Reservations
You may schedule your appointment at any time using our secure online portal.
Prescribing & Controlled Substances Policy
We do not prescribe controlled substances (Schedule II–V) through our telehealth practice. Prescription decisions are made case-by-case based on clinical appropriateness and applicable federal and state laws.
States Served & Licensure Disclosure
Telehealth visits are available only to patients physically located in: NY, TX, FL, AK, KS, and VA at the time of the visit. Patient location is verified at the start of each visit.
Clinical Communication
Secure messaging is intended for non-urgent follow-up questions only. Our turnaround time for non-urgent responses is typically within 48 hours. Please note that messaging is not unlimited and cannot replace formal consultations.
Documentation & Forms
For patient safety and medical accuracy, all administrative forms—including school, work, disability, and FMLA documentation—require a synchronous telehealth visit. Services are provided based on clinical appropriateness and telehealth suitability.
Emergency Disclaimer
Telehealth is for non-emergent care only. For urgent or emergent symptoms, patients must call 911 immediately or go to the nearest emergency department. Do not rely on clinical messaging for life-threatening concerns.
